i recently took a trip (much needed) to one of my favorite 'mini-vacay' spots--san francisco. the weather was warm and sunny (too bad my suitcase was filled with sweaters and scarves), shopping was eventful and all the food we devoured was more than satisfying. mMmm i'm still drooling over the spicy ramen from katana-ya.

Anyway, during my shopping excursions (to burn off calories in-between meals) i stumbled across a boutique called SHOTWELL and immediately fell in love! my eyes fixated on their wide assortments of dangles, bangles, rings and things (we at THC lalalove our accessories). oh!..can't forget to mention their fabulous collection of vintage clothes and accessories!

WHAT IS A MAN REPELLER?

–noun

outfitting oneself in a sartorially offensive way that will result in repelling members of the opposite sex. This includes but is not limited to harem pants, boyfriend jeans, overalls (see: human repelling), shoulder pads, full length jumpsuits, jewelry that resembles violent weaponry and clogs.

–verb (used without object),-pell·ing, -pell·ed.

to commit the act of repelling men:

Girl 1: What are you wearing tonight?

Girl 2: My sweet lime green drop crotch utility pants

Girl 1: Oh, so we're man repelling tonight?

this has got to be one of my favorite blogs. MR is so sarcastic, so ingenious, so RIGHT! --

why is it that pretty much everything "edgy" or "chic" that us girls love is completely the opposite of what males find attractive? i mean seriously to be honest i can care less about what guys think of my sometimes borderline tomboy outfits, or rather such outfits that show about zero amount of skin. i know we girls in truth only dress up for each other -- who else do you expect to comment on your new wedges, spiked rings, or fur vest? not him.
